Appearing once more, now in its eight incarnation, is the latest effort in the long running "Sulphur" series from collaborators Etheocles Stevens and Seetyca. Sulphur part eight, subtitled Endless, follows the tradition of deep and dark soundworlds of a colossal and intense mangitude. gterma veterans who took a liking to the Seetyca album The Luminous Deep will find much illumination in this dark eigth episode. If you are not yet familiar with Sulphur I do recommend a visit to the Russian netlabel Otium where you can find the more recent episodes in this series.
gterma listeners can also look forward to a passage from Sulphur part IV on the up and coming Phra Rahu compilation.

Signs of Life...
It is time for our first release of the year, the charming and deep adventure of "Tanuki Dreams". Follow Timothy Gray and the restless Tanuki creature as they dive through recordings made in the years between 2008 and 2012. The Phra Rahu compilation which was originally scheduled to be out by now is currently facing some delays and will unfortunately not be available during the total lunar eclipse which will descend upon us this April. We will have to hold hands in the darkness all the same. Om Dhum Ram Rahave Namah.
[gterma035] : Ethernet - Tanuki Dreams (2014-03-27)
The Tanuki is the much loved but naughty little racoon dog of Japanese lore. It invited us over to the small farmhouse where it has currently taken up residence. telling us of its many pilgrimages through forgotten and slumbering lands far away. In the same manner, we now look back on the Japanese influences on Tim Gray, perhaps better known through his Ethernet name. Nine pieces of hypnotizing and slumbering ambient with drone and dub influences. Comes in a jewel case with 16-page booklet. [gterma035] : Ethernet - Tanuki Dreams by the lost gterma

Hooray... postal charges on the rise.
Starting April 1st the Swedish Post will raise the prices on all letter services. The base multiplier SEK 6 (which is the cost for a regular domestic 20g letter) is upped to SEK 7 which carries with it multiplier effects for all foreign customers as well. Basically the cost of a 100g envelope will be raised from 4x SEK 6 to 4x SEK7, 250g goes from 8x SEK6 to 8x SEK 7 and so on.

Report: "Wintersleep", new track by Havdis
Winter is maintaining its tight grip over Scandinavia. Our forests are sleeping and the lakes are gradually being blanketed by ice. And on the Norwegian coast, the great ocean is sometimes lulled into dreams.
Our friend Havdis continues to draw from his local environment and goes into deep primordial territories on his latest journey.

Report: Urenga featured on newly created Deep Electronic Podcast
Our very own posterchild Andras -familiar to gterma listeners from the Indo and Urenga projects- has recently put together a selection of material, past and present, from his deep and dubby Urenga project. His music is being featured on the newly created Deep Electronic Podcast and I can't think of a better way to start it of. I always lose myself in Andras' music and you can be sure to see more of his works on the label in the not so distant future. You can tune in by following this link.

Apex
gterma is back in operation following a metropolitan excursion which failed to dig up anything more mysterious than a garden of zen. It is time to finally make public the year's last two releases which are a pair of unusual treasures. We wish all our friends and listeners a good ending to this year and send our thoughts to those who no longer wander among us.
[gterma025] : Aqua Dorsa - The November Earth (out now)
The duo Aqua Dorsa, perhaps better known under their respective names, Gianluigi Gasparetti and Enrico Coniglio, here present a very solemn yet foreboding album with dark undertones. Gigi originally composed the source material which was then expanded upon by Enrico. We've done some final editing to the material during the summer and fall of 2013. The November Earth also features a short story written by Gigi in 2012, called Sogno di Luce. Album in jewelcase with 16-page booklet.
[gterma037] : David Parsons - Stupa (out now)
It has been some time now since we heard from everyone's favourite New Zealander. Rest assured though that all is well with David, and he is still composing new music. However, some material has been ready for release for quite some time but is held up at the publisher. Meanwhile, David sends us these new greetings from the sphere where ambient and Indian classical music converge. Dig out your Ramayana and float away on a little lotus leaf along the river of souls. Comes in a jewel case with 16-page booklet.
